Personalhuset's Privacy Statement

Your privacy is important to us, and this privacy statement is intended to describe how Personalhuset protects your privacy. It is important to us that you know what personal data we process about you and how we safeguard your privacy. If you have any questions or other enquiries, they can be directed to the Data Protection Officer by e-mail to: personvern@personalhuset.no.

Controllership and grounds for processing

The starting point for our processing of your personal data is the contractual relationship with you as a candidate. The purpose of the processing is to meet and fulfil our obligations as a recruitment and staffing company under the agreement. This includes obligations relating to customer administration and invoicing. If the contractual relationship is terminated, the processing of personal data is only permitted on the basis of consent or statutory requirements.

Categories of personal data:

Personalhuset will only register personal data about you and other persons associated with the contractual relationship upon registration, when entering into an agreement and during the contractual relationship itself. This mainly relates to data such as:

In some cases, some positions will require a police certificate of conduct to be presented or a credit assessment to be performed prior to employment. This is to ensure suitability for the position, as required by the nature of the position. Such data will not be stored with us and you will be expressly notified if this is necessary for the position.

How we use your personal data:

The data we process about you is used by Personalhuset and in our contact with customers. The purpose of our customer relationships is to recruit appropriate candidates for assignments and positions, and we will provide data that includes, among other things, contact details and other relevant information for the position advertised, for example, CVs and any supporting application statement. In such situations, we also make our own assessments of you as a candidate and an employee, while at the same time processing feedback from our customers about you as an employee. Our mission is to ensure that you, as a candidate, find the most suitable position for you, while looking after the interests of our customers.

If you are an employee of ours, we are required to disclose personal data about salary and percentage of full-time employment to tax authorities and other government agencies.

In addition to the recruitment purpose, we would like to provide you with information about us and about future advertised positions that may be of interest to you. Your contact details may be used to send you other relevant information based on our contractual relationship, as well as to make contact with you as a candidate.

Storage and erasure of your personal data

Your personal data will not be stored for longer than is necessary under the agreement and for the purpose of the processing.

When you apply for a position or register as a candidate with us, your personal data will normally be stored for 2 years, unless you request that it be erased. After this, your personal data will automatically be erased. If you want us to continue to store your data, you can voluntarily consent to this. You can also request that we erase your data from our systems at any time.

If you are employed by Personalhuset, your personal data will be stored for the duration of the employment relationship and until all outstanding matters have been settled, such as the payment of holiday pay and the issue of a certificate of employment. In some cases, we may be required by law to process personal data for longer than the contractual relationship itself.

Right of access, rectification or erasure of your personal data

You have the right to request access to the personal data we process about you when Personalhuset is the data controller. You have the right to both information about the processing as well as access to the actual personal data that we have registered about you.

If your personal data is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request that it be corrected. You can do this yourself in your profile.

As a candidate, you can change or delete your own profile at any time from “Your profile” in the system, or you can contact Personalhuset directly via your contact person or by e-mail to personvern@personalhuset.no

This right may be restricted if the personal data in question is necessary for the fulfilment of the original purpose of the processing. This is typically the case where we have an active contractual relationship with you, or we are required to process the data by law.

The right to request restriction of processing

If you contest the accuracy of the personal data we process about you at Personalhuset, you believe the processing is unlawful, or you believe the processing is no longer necessary to achieve the original purpose, you have the right to request that the processing be restricted.

Contact details

If you wish to exercise your rights, or you have questions and other suggestions regarding our processing of personal data, you can contact your contact person with us or send an enquiry by e-mail to personvern@personalhuset.no.
