Sustainability

We have chosen to embrace the UN definition of sustainability; Development that meets today's needs without destroying the opportunities for future generations to meet theirs. For us, it`s about being aware of how and what parts of society we influence in environmental, economic and social aspects. We work to minimize our negative impact and maximize our positive ones.

We have chosen to focus on 4 of the UN's sustainability goals.

Poverty reduction is an important and major task. In Norway, participation in the labor market is the most important means of combating poverty. We believe that we play a part in this, for many people we are their way into or their way back to working life.

Equality / decent work and economic growth. We take an active role in ensuring equal pay for equal work and are committed to recruiting without conscious or unconscious prejudices related to gender, ethnicity, age, etc. We take our employer responsibilities seriously and contribute through our recruitment processes so that our clients solve their social tasks.

Environment

We are environmentally certified and are constantly working to minimize our climate footprint. We compensate for emissions through the purchase of climate quotas.

Corporate Responsibility

Personalhuset is a large Nordic employer. Every year we provide work to almost 8,000 people throughout the Nordic region. For many, we are their first experience of a working life and a positive start to a long and professional career. 

Our social, environmental and ethical goals are reflected in our behavior towards customers, employees, suppliers and other stakeholders. We are committed to being responsible for what we say and to having an active role. We follow our own program for monitoring and safeguarding our employees, whether they work internally or externally with one of our many clients.
